Shanghai, January 5, 2015 — Recently Thermo King won the “Chinese Top10 Cold Chain Transport Equipment Technology Service Providers” in the 8th China Cold Chain Industry Annual Summit held by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP).
The theme of this summit is “Transformation and Upgrading - Explore the New Driving force of China's Cold Chain Development”. The committee invited corporations from upstream, midstream, and downstream in each sector of the business to discuss the problems we have now and where we should go in the future. Over the past seven years, China's Cold Chain Industry Annual Summit has been the biggest summit of China cold chain industry. This year, thousands of experts from logistics, food, agricultural products, pharmaceutical, catering, and aquatic product industries attended the summit, offering their constructive thoughts and advices regarding the transformation and upgrading of the developing cold chain industry. The summit has profound meaning to the whole cold chain industry.
The highlight of this year’s summit was the award ceremony of “Gold Chain” held every two years. “Gold Chain” targets at searching for explorers, practitioners and innovators with focus on industrial upgrading and transformation who can contribute to the development of Chinese cold chain industry. Because of its outstanding contribution to the industry in terms of cold chain market cultivation, Thermo King won the “Chinese Top10 Cold Chain Transport Equipment Technology Service Providers” this year.
